About the teams

Finance and Office Services

The Finance and Office Services team supports the achievement of the PC’s objectives by:

  • providing timely and accurate financial and procurement information and advice which supports sound decision making and ensures the ongoing financial sustainability of the PC
  • ensuring the PC complies with all relevant legislative and policy/procedural requirements including those relating to financial management, administration and reporting.

The Finance and Procurement Officers provide high-quality financial strategy, reporting and advice to internal and external stakeholders, including specialist advice and practical guidance on procurement and contract management matters.

Human Resources (HR)

The HR team supports the PC in maintaining an engaged, inclusive, and healthy workforce with the capabilities and capacity to achieve the PC’s goals – now and into the future.

The team’s responsibilities are broadly grouped in two functional streams of work:

  • Workforce development and conditions – including pay and conditions (we manage our pay and conditions in house using Aurion), recruitment, learning and development, inclusion and diversity, and workforce strategy.
  • Workplace relations and wellbeing – including performance management, employee relations, conduct and integrity, and work health and safety (WHS) and wellbeing.

Across this broad range of functions, HR team members work flexibly and collaboratively to provide timely, accurate advice and support – balancing operational priorities with longer-term strategic projects.

The HR Advisor / Senior Advisor and Payroll Advisor / Senior Advisor are experienced and highly capable Human Resources (HR) and/or Payroll practitioners, with strong communication and relationship management skills, an eye for detail, and a professional and flexible working style.

The DT team ensures that all aspects of DT can support the continuity of current business operations while delivering new capabilities to support evolving business needs. The team leads the innovative application of technology to meet the PC’s strategic objectives while keeping core systems and information available, accessible, and secure.

The System Administrators and Senior DT Support officers play a vital part in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our DT infrastructure. They manage and maintain the PC’s Windows and Microsoft 365 environment, along with critical systems like Cisco networking and virtual infrastructure, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our DT infrastructure.

These positions assist with DT requests, handle technical escalations and advise ICT management on issues and solutions, contribute to software packaging and backup processes, apply Essential 8 security practices to maintain a robust cybersecurity posture while also delivering first-level support services with a customer service focus.
