Target

Increase the amount of government funding for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander programs and services going through Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community-controlled organisations.

Development of measurement of targets and indicators under the Priority Reforms is occurring across phases – see the appendix (attachment 5) of the Closing the Gap Annual Data Compilation Report July 2024.

Output indicator

  • Number of Aboriginal Community Controlled organisations (ACCOs) across the socioeconomic outcome areas of the Agreement
  • Number of government contracts awarded to ACCOs
  • Number of sectors with elements of a strong sector, by element
