This supplement contains the results of a quantitative analysis of the effects of the major National Competition Policy reforms and selected national economic forces, which initially examined their effects on the national economy, and then disaggregated the effects to rural and regional Australia.
A Statistical Annex to the supplement contains detailed statistical information used in summary form in chapter four of the supplement and in the main body of the report.
