Productivity Commission submission
The Productivity Commission made a submission to the Quality Initial Teacher Education (QITE) Review. The submission explores issues with attracting high-quality ITE candidates to teaching, including related issues with teacher shortages in specific areas, and looks at research on teacher training and the importance of ongoing professional development.
It was submitted to the Quality Initial Teacher Education Review Expert Panel in July 2021 and posted on the Review's website on 24 February 2022. The Commission released the submission on its website on 25 February 2022.
